Shameem Etwaroo's  love of photography first began in the 1970’s while travelling through Europe, taking pictures with his first camera, the Minolta XE-7.
 

Years later he found himself with a Nikon D70 camera. This camera led to his interest in digital photography. Since then he has upgraded to a Nikon D3, opening his perspective on his surroundings.
 

His fascination with the environment and its natural beauty has led him to photograph some of the most spectacular sights. From the panoramic views of the Canadian East Coast to the National and Provincial parks of North America, his pictures capture the essence of harmony and tranquility.
 

Some think the most amazing images ever taken require a lot of money and miles. Through this passion, Shameem has discovered many beautiful scenes right in his own backyard so-to-speak— places he may not have discovered had it not been for his love of photography.
 

Although nature is his forte, he has also developed a deep interest in portrait and wedding photography. His pictures have been featured in many photography shops throughout his neighborhood.

In today’s digital age, there is always something new to learn and discover. Shameem is ready for the task. He continues to craft his own style and continue to show the world his world through his own lens.
